Subskin feature
Very useful, when you want to have many plone instances and still keep the same main_template
You can design a skin and just run it on top of the vsCore logic and the default vsSkin.
Steps:
- Test your skin first by placing it in the custom folder in portal_skins
- Then you can install your skin in portal_skins - it will be on the same site level as vsCore
- Then you can select your skin in the vsCore control panel or choose one of the skins that come already with vsCore. The advantage of this is that the same customized vsCore main_template is used no matter what skin is chosen, making it easy to mantain many Plone instances at the same time.
