vsCore Features:

• Subsite feature: enable different navbar tabs for different subfolders.

• place content in different areas of the page using simple "add_in" pages

• portlets that display static documents, random documents and images, or the results of smart folders.

• can turn different areas of the site off: title, breadcrumbs, personal bar, even content!

• can keep one skin and insert different 'visual' layer to create look

• SEO-friendly applications:

  • Tags based on Google requests
  • Highlight SEO-inefficient pages in terms of length, number of links, url length (see utilities)

• can insert seperate html into main_template for authenticated and anonymous sites.

• useful utilities for Plone site managers

  • switch discussion on a page on/off
  • change creator of Plone content types (and Easyblogs!)
  • replace many instances of the same broken link at once
  • show an activity stats page for any given web document.
  • get catalog data for any Plone object without going to ZMI

Installation

Installation is via the usual method: Install as a Zope product and then install in your Plone instance with QuickInstaller (the Add/Remove option in the preferences panel)
